Terms & Conditions – Vegan Surf Camp

1. Purpose

These Terms & Conditions explain how bookings with us work. By confirming a reservation, you agree to these conditions and the rules of your chosen rate.

2. Booking & Responsibility

  • A booking is complete once the deposit is paid and the reservation process is finished.

  • The lead guest (the person booking) must be 18+, be part of the group attending the camp, and is legally responsible for the entire reservation: all payments, all guests (including children), and ensuring everyone is aware of and complies with these terms. Throughout these terms, “you” refers to the lead guest.

  • Minors are only allowed if accompanied by an adult (18+) with parental authority or written consent.

  • By booking with us, you and your group also become temporary members of the non-profit association L’Amour de la Terre (SIRET: 404 402 430 000 23) for the time of your stay. Membership is included in your reservation.

3. Confirmation

After payment, you will receive an email with your reservation details: services, prices, and conditions.

4. Prices & Payment

  • All prices include tax and are shown in euros (€). Local/tourist taxes are included in our price.

  • A deposit (10%) is required at booking. The balance must be paid before departure, and we recommend paying before arrival.

  • Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, cheques, chèques vacances (ANCV), and cash. You can also pay by transfer through your customer portal.

  • We do not accept card payments.

  • No-shows are charged according to the booking conditions.

5. Cancellations & Changes

  • Deposits are non-refundable in all cases.

  • Some rates cannot be changed or refunded. Where allowed, cancellations or changes must be requested directly with us.

  • Reservations are personal and cannot be transferred.

  • Under French law, online bookings for accommodation/leisure provided on set dates are not subject to the right of withdrawal (Consumer Code L221-28, 12°).

6. Minimum Numbers & Organizer’s Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel the camp if the published minimum number of participants is not reached. In this case, all payments already made will be refunded in full. No further claims can be made.

7. Stay at the Camp

  • You may be asked to show ID on arrival.

  • Respectful behavior is required; serious or repeated misconduct may lead to removal from the camp without refund.

  • We do not have detailed house rules, but common sense and mutual respect apply.

8. Health & Fitness

  • Guests must be able to swim and be physically fit to participate in surf activities.

  • You confirm that nothing from a medical perspective prevents you from taking part.

  • You must inform us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, or other health issues both in advance and again upon arrival at the camp.

9. Insurance

  • We strongly recommend travel and medical insurance (covering accident, illness, and repatriation).

  • After booking, we will provide details of an optional insurance you can purchase via email.

10. Extra Services

Extra services (e.g., special diets, extra cleaning, private transfers, excursions, personalized requests) may involve additional fees and must be confirmed in advance.

11. Liability

  • We are not liable for accidents, force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, internet outages), or issues caused by third parties.

  • No refunds will be given in these cases.

  • In the event that a scheduled activity (including surf or yoga) cannot take place due to such circumstances, an alternative activity or rescheduled session will be proposed whenever possible. But no refunds in these cases.

  • Fraudulent, incomplete, or irregular bookings may be cancelled at the guest’s expense.

  • We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage of guests’ personal belongings.

  • Claims for defects or problems during your stay must be reported immediately on site, so that we have the chance to fix them. If you fail to do so, compensation or refund rights may be lost.

12. Privacy & Media

  • Your personal data is used only to process your booking and may be shared with secure partners (e.g., payment providers).

  • Platform pictures: Photos and descriptions on our website are for illustration only. Small differences may occur.

  • Photos during your stay: Pictures may be taken during the Vegan Surf Camp and used for advertising. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the photographer in advance. However, your image may still appear incidentally in group or background shots.English

13. Newsletter & Communication

  • By booking, you authorize the association to send you emails related to your booking as well as information and advertising about our activities. You will be automatically subscribed to our newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time by sending us an email


14. Law, Jurisdiction & Limitation

  • These terms are governed by French law, without affecting your consumer rights.

  • All claims from the travel contract expire after two years, beginning on the contractual end date of your stay.

15. Cancellation Policy

  • Deposit at Booking
     A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required to secure your reservation.

  • Cancellations made 15–90 days before arrival
     A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount will apply.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival
     The full booking amount (100%) will be charged.

  • No-shows
     In the event of a no-show, the full booking amount (100%) will be charged.
